This system is looking for a Manager of Radiology Informatics to join the team. This person will report to the VP of Imaging for the entire system, and he’s been with the system for over thirteen years! His personality style is clear, yet kind, transparent, and knowledgeable about the industry. He doesn’t like to hear how things cannot be done, instead, he wants to hear how we can creatively get to the solution needed to accomplish the goals of the department.

 

There are 26 PACs Administrators that will be reporting to this person and the VP of imaging. The ideal candidate must have a radiology informatics background including PACS, IRS, and working technical knowledge of medical imaging interfaces. This person should be a subject matter expert in resolution management of medical application incidents, implement process improvement strategies, and promote medical imaging application security to ensure compliance.

 

This role is a hybrid role; the expectation is 3-4 days on-site, and the other day can be remote. This person must live within the metroplex.

Requirements:

• Salary Range: The midpoint for this role is $100,000 based on years of experience and education.
• Requirements:
• Minimum of five years experience in radiology informatics including PACS and IRS
• Must have managerial experience and has led a team
• Bachelors Degree
• Education/Certification:
• CIIP would be a plus!
