This faith-based, not-for-profit healthcare system has 13 hospitals throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. This 300-bed Magnet hospital is growing their ER Department and has expanded from 44 beds to 70 beds. They average 250 patients a day at their very busy Level 3 Trauma Center.

 

This person will have close to 100 FTEs and report to the director, who was the previous manager in this role. She has an intimate knowledge of the unit and wants to find someone equally passionate about building strong patient and employee relationships. She ideally wants someone who has operational excellence in the emergency room and has focused on throughput efficiencies in a leadership capacity.

Requirements: 

• BSN Required, Master’s Degree Strongly Preferred
• Licenses and Certifications: RN required
• 5 years of emergency room experience, 2 years of progressive management experience required.
