This 140+ bed campus is a Pathway Designated location looking for a Director of Surgical Services who will also have oversight of the Cath lab, in addition to the entire surgical services line. Out of the 52 hospitals in the system, they are the 4^th highest-rated campus within the system for employee engagement, and the 5^th highest for their culture, so people go here, grow here, and enjoy their work! The Chief Nursing Officer has grown through the system for over 15 years, so she can also share her story about why she loves the system she is leading.

 

The Director will have 6 managers and 111 FTEs. There are 11 total ORs, and someone with a history of growing case volumes will be a plus. The CNO is looking for someone who is strong with building physician relationships and trust. They need to be a strategic, growth-minded servant leader that cares about continuing a legacy of strong patient experience and employee satisfaction.

Salary: The midpoint for this salary range is $155k, based on years of experience, education, and how well you do in the interview. There is also a 20% annual incentive plan bonus, and payouts have been close to that amount for the past five years.

 

Requirements: 

• RN and BSN Required, Master’s Degree in a healthcare related field required.
• Seven years of surgical services experience required, three of those years being in a clinical leadership role within an acute care hospital preferred.
