This system is part of a much larger parent company with over thirty hospitals nationwide! This system includes several Academic Medical Centers, over 4,000 licensed beds, and $4 Billion dollars in revenue. They are looking for a Director of Inpatient Rehab Services for their newly expanded facility. Growing from three thousand square feet to over nine thousand square feet, they are wanting a leader who can grow the service line and who wants to add additional therapy programs!

 

This person will direct and administer strategic, operational, fiscal, and personnel activities for the Therapy Services, supporting both inpatient and outpatient services. They will work with a very strong 30 FTE team who are incredibly collaborative and engaged. This person will coordinate with the three other directors in the region, and report to the CEO of the hospital. The CEO has been with the health system for over a decade and has a background in running a rehabilitation hospital, so he has a mutual interest in helping you succeed.

Requirements for Director role: 

• Bachelor’s in Physical or Occupational Therapy; or Masters in Speech Therapy.
• Master’s Degree in related field preferred
• Current NM License in Physical or Occupational Therapy or Speech/Language Pathology.
• 5 years of progressively more responsible therapy services experience, 3+ years of progressively more responsible management experience leading therapy programs. Multi-facility experience desired.  Acute care, rehab, and outpatient experience desired.  Demonstrated ability to develop and grow the program. 
• Knowledge of DNV and/or CARF requirements.
