Cancer Center Director
Kansas, Kansas
This for-profit healthcare system includes several Academic Medical Centers, over 4,000 licensed beds, and $4 Billion dollars in revenue. I have placed with them several times before and can tell you all about their mission, vision, and values.
This 370+ bed campus is part of an Academic Medical Center that has a long legacy of high-quality compassionate care. They are committed to enhancing their excellent reputation by providing outstanding service, leading-edge patient care, and healthcare education to people throughout Kansas and beyond.
The system affiliation with their local Academic Medical Center means that they can leverage the expertise from the health system to support research, clinical quality, and best practices in oncology. The partnership brings more access to clinical trials, technology, and cancer care expertise to this location.
This partnership includes the only NCI-designated comprehensive cancer center in the region and just 1 of 53 comprehensive cancer centers in the nation. They have invested in several major cancer care updates on the campus including a new linear accelerator, a new PET CT scanner, and remodeling the radiation oncology department.
This person will report directly to the CEO, who has been with this health system for over five years. His other positions were also with Academic Medical Centers. He has a longstanding history of strategic thinking and visionary leadership that earned him CEO of the Year twice by Health Management Associates.
