Currently seeking an Advanced Analytics Analyst. 

You:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, or Accounting AND 1-2 years of analytical experience (life sciences not required)
  • Bachelor’s candidate requirements: 6 months of either Tableau, Qlik OR Power BI experience, strong Excel experience and experience creating reports for sales, marketing OR supply chain.  R or Python experience is a plus, and prior Life Sciences is a plus
  • Master’s candidate requirements: Class in Python or R.  No prior work experience required

  • Must be willing to be based in the Cary, NC area (will provide lump sum relo assistance

The Analyst will be responsible for analytics initiatives and support for the Customer Experience function. The analysis and insights generated will help design, measure, and adapt customer engagement at regular intervals for continuous improvement of everything we do for our customers.  This role is highly visible and critical for achieving the long-term vision of customer experience at the company and will have significant impact on our business.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for the reporting associated with the digital engagement of customers, Voice of Customers, Net Promoter Score (NPS), and other CX initiatives
  • Work closely with Customer Experience (CX), Sales, Marketing, and other Business Knowledge (BK) teammates to develop and implement analytics model for optimal customer engagement deployment.
  • Lead ROI analysis of sales and marketing tactics and provide recommendations on optimization of promotional spending
  • Work with the BK team and the data warehouse team to capture and process the data from various digital channels and construct the data marts required for analytical work and deployment of personalized customer engagement tactics
  • Serve as a member of data governance team, help establish best practices in data governance process to ensure best data quality
  • Remain informed and champion new advancements in advanced analytics, technologies, and trends that can be applied to improve the overall analytical capabilities of the organization

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year accredited university in STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics), statistics, economics, finance, or accounting
  • 1-2 years of experience in an analytics function (e.g., operations, finance, business analytics, etc.)
  • 6 months experience in Tableau, Qlik or Power BI required
  • Hands-on working with numbers, i.e., creating reports for sales, marketing or supply chain
  • Experience with data science / advanced analytics, such as statistical languages such as R and Python, application of advanced statistical and machine learning techniques and concepts such as regression, statistical tests and proper usage, clustering, decision tree learning, and artificial neural networks to draw insights from large data sets is a plus
  • Experience working in the Life Sciences industry is a plus
  • Team player and collaborates well with other team members from diverse backgrounds and work styles
  • Ability to communicate data to target audiences across the organization
  • The ability to think strategically about the business and challenge the status quo thought process
  • Must be proficient with all MS Office applications, including MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Good project management skills: being able to multitask and deliver results in tight timelines, and adapt to fast paced, frequently changing environment
  • Master’s Degree

  • Class in R or Python if no prior work experience
