Associate Director, Digital Marketing:

 

My client, a fully integrated, global biopharmaceutical company located in a western Boston suburb, has a diversified commercial product portfolio and a substantial clinical pipeline of product candidates for chronic diseases in CNS.

I am currently seeking an Associate Director, Digital Marketing for this organization.  This role will support Digital Marketing efforts for an existing in-line product in the neurology space.  Looking for a strong digital marketer.

TITLE:                    Associate Director, Digital Marketing

LOCATION:         Western Boston, MA Area

The Associate Director, Digital marketing will lead the development and execution of the Non-Personal Promotion strategy and tactics including digital and media. This is unique opportunity to be part of a highly talented and motivated cross functional product team.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop strategy and tactical plan for non-personal promotion (NPP)
  • Implement tactics across a targeted group of channels and vendors
  • Develop and execute HCP media plan
  • Work with HCP marketing leads to adapt core brand strategy, messages, and core materials to deliver to target customers
  • Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to track progress and impact of NPP tactics
  • Continually refine NPP tactics for increased impact and customer engagement
  • Lead commercial activities at key congresses and meetings
  • Lead approval process for NPP materials with Compliance, Legal, Regulatory, and Medical
  • Plan and implement yearly programs and budget for NPP marketing
  • Manage key vendor and agency relationships

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or science
  • 5+ years’ experience in pharmaceutical DIGITAL marketing
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to forge focused business strategies
  • Strong analytical skills, able to clearly interpret and distill commercial information
  • Understanding of the FDA promotional guidelines and approval process
  • Ability to effectively plan, prioritize, execute, follow up and anticipate problems
  • Ability to work across multiple functions (sales, sales training, finance, medical affairs)
  • Experience working with medical, legal, and regulatory review committees
  • Experience managing agency partners
  • Ability to influence and gain consensus from peers and management
  • Strong writing and presentation skills
  • Understanding of industry code of conduct and ethics
