I am currently seeking a Senior Manager Value Marketing– Oncology for this exciting company. Company is motivated to hire quickly, with a streamlined process!

 

The ideal candidate for this role will have the following:

  • Solid Managed Markets/Market Access focused marketing experience
  • Pharmacoeconomic value proposition and pharmacoeconomic messaging experience
  • Oncology experience is a plus, but not required
  • Must have solid understanding of the reimbursement landscape
  • Payer experience on the medical benefit side (vs. the pharmacy benefit side) is a plus
  • Collaborative, with executive presence
  • Ability to work cross-functionally
  • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the US without sponsorship

 

TITLE:   Senior Manager Value Marketing - Oncology

LOCATION:  Southern California

REPORTS TO:   Director of Reimbursement, Access and Value  

RELO: Yes

 

The role as a member of the US Value & Access team, the Senior Manager will collaborate with the Value Marketing team on the development and execution of the strategic economic value marketing plan for the specific brands for the Oncology Business Unit.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Partner with value marketing team to develop the economic value marketing strategy for oncology portfolio products, including the development of long term economic value stories across payers and organized customer stakeholders
  • Develop tools to effectively communicate value proposition to drive coverage, and value based brand initiatives
  • Lead work streams to develop value plans and messages to ensure access of products under the introduction of new payment models, pilots, etc.
  • Manage projects and relationships to develop resources, training, and programs to deliver on economic value marketing strategy
  • Align and lead cross functional works streams including Global Health Economics (GHE), Center for Observational Research (CfOR), and brand to support business initiatives for payers and IDNs
  • Lead coordination of Pharmacoeconomic Materials Approval and Compliance (PMAC) approval process to support rollout of oncology value marketing resources
  • Analyze and identify opportunities with payer contracting strategies
  • Manage value marketing budget and vendors when developing resources, training and tools for the field based account managers
  • Ensure understanding of the external organizations and societies efforts in defining value and establishing value frameworks
  • Plan and execute training of materials for field account managers
  • Coordinate with BAI to conduct relevant market research and integrate payer, marketing information into development of strategic and tactical plans

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Doctorate degree and (2 years of Marketing and/or Sales Management experience) OR (2 years of Marketing and/or Sales including 1 year of Marketing experience)
  • Master’s degree and (4 years of Marketing and/or Sales Management experience) OR (4 years of Marketing and/or Sales including 2 years of Marketing experience)
  • Bachelor’s degree and (6 years of Marketing and/or Sales Management experience) OR (6 years of Marketing and/or Sales including 3 years of Marketing experience)
  • Associate’s degree and (10 years of Marketing and/or Sales Management experience) OR (10 years of Marketing and/or Sales including 5 years of Marketing experience)
  • High school diploma / GED and (12 years of Marketing and/or Sales Management experience) OR (12 years of Marketing and/or Sales including 6 years of Marketing experience)
  • 4+ years of marketing and/or sales experience
  • Strong business acumen, analytical skills and strategic thinking ability
  • Cross-functional leadership and ability to manage relationships within a highly matrixed environment
  • Experience in delivering results through leveraging and applying marketing principles, strategies and tactics
