TITLE: Manager, Customer Insights

REPORTS TO: Head of Insights, Bone

To help meet ambitions and provide the best solutions to patients, this company is currently seeking a talented individual as Manager, Customer Insights.  This global role is responsible for developing customer marketing insights for emerging assets in the bone therapy area and for managing insights projects within the strategic marketing practice.   This role will be report directly to the Head of Bone Insights and will work with other team members in different therapeutic areas within the global insights center of excellence.



  • Effectively manage projects to provide actionable information and insights regarding customers (patients, physicians and caregivers) and the global market and business environment
  • Manage market research projects and competitive intelligence projects
  • Build and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders
  • Execute primary and secondary research to clarify issues and reduce risk in decision making for new molecules in development in international markets
  • Conduct primary market research projects that align with brand development objectives
  • Collaborate on additional value-add projects within the strategic marketing practice
  • Help develop new processes to coordinate and embed insights within the bone PVU, insights center of excellence and strategic marketing practice
  • Collaborate and manage projects for the strategic marketing practices such as long-term planning and launch excellence


  • Bachelor’s degree (Business Administration, Marketing, Statistics, or related field) required; Master’s degree preferred
  • 2-3 years of Market Research, Customer Insights, or related experience in pharmaceuticals (preferred) or consumer products. Additional experience in innovation, marketing, new product development, and communications a plus.  Recent graduates will also be considered and those with prior internships or work experience preferred
  • Experience in Primary and Secondary, Qual and Quant studies
  • Strong synthesizing skills
  • Strong verbal and written reporting capabilities, including strong presentation skills and fluency with MS Office
  • Ability to work in a highly collaborative matrix environment where flexibility and change management skills are needed
  • Strong skills to partner and communicate with stakeholders up to a director level within the organization
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Comfort working with stakeholders from multiple countries and geographic regions
  • Genuine interest in the behaviors, attitudes and preferences of human beings, patients in particular, throughout the world, present and past, to help better understand people as a whole
  • Critical thinking and analytical skills with the ability to translate vague information needs into specific questions relating to expected use of results are required
  • Strong project management skills to include planning, prioritizing and organizational skills are required
  • A willingness to learn
  • Some overnight travel, including internationally may be required
