Join the number one hospital system in Texas for employee engagement scores! With a 98% rating, it's no wonder the CNO has worked with the system for the past 14 years, and the CEO even longer. They are looking for a Critical Care Director to join their team. 


This hospital is a 700+bed, Magnet-designated regional referral center that has served the residents of North Texas since 1930. Hospital services include cardiovascular care, high-risk obstetrics, gynecology, orthopedics and sports medicine, neonatal intensive care, and trauma/emergency medicine. This campus recently received national recognition for its oncology program and was named “Best Place to Have a Baby” in the area. The hospital is also a designated Cycle III Chest Pain Center by the Society of Chest Pain Centers. 


This position is responsible for planning, organizing and delegating activities as required for the safe, efficient and effective operation of the Critical Care areas including active participation with other hospital and leadership staff to accomplish this objective. Manages and develops staff as necessary to support the operation of the department and hospital.


You will support the development of applicable critical care strategies to meet site and system goals, participate in nursing strategies process to meet nursing related goals/strategies. You will also be critical in developing departmental (CVICU, CCU, CPCU, MPCU,TICU, Neuro ICU) strategies.
