Director, Digital Marketing - Agency

My client, a small full-service managed markets agency based in Northern New Jersey, provides intelligent sound strategy to increase access to brands through the utilization of actionable insights gleaned form payers, hospitals, and alternative care settings.

 

They tackle access and reimbursement challenges for top-tier pharmaceutical/biotechnology companies, including specialty market products. Efficiently delivered market intelligence is critical at attaining payer access & achieving commercial success.

I am currently working on a Director, Digital Marketing role.  This person will be a department of one and will help grow the company’s digital capability offering for their clients.  As the function grows, you will grow the team.

  • 5 years pharmaceutical/biotech focused digital marketing experience
  • Experience in developing digital strategy and tactics
  • Open to agency-side or client-side experience (If coming from the client side, probably someone that is currently a SPM)
  • Role will be client facing, so strong presentation skills, project management skills and relationship management
  • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the US without sponsorship

TITLE: Director, Digital Marketing

 

The Director Digital Marketing is responsible for the strategy and execution of the digital marketing plan for client programs (payer, consumer and patient marketing), internal corporate campaigns; and input into overarching healthcare marketing strategies, creative campaigns, tactical plans, and message platforms.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and grow digital capabilities and offerings for our clients
  • Define and manage digital marketing strategies for HCP, patients and payers audience
  • Present new ideas and lead the strategy and execution of digital programs
  • Develop and manage the digital marketing plan; including social media efforts
  • Identify and manage digital programmers and third-party partners
  • Foster innovative forward-thinking throughout the organization and focusing on improving business outcomes
  • Development and execution of key digital assets, including (but not limited to):
  • Consumer facing web properties
  • Online video assets
  • Payer/Patient facing mobile assets (including apps)
  • HCP support platforms
  • Work closely with client and internal colleagues to support overarching brand marketing strategies, tactical plans, and key performance indicators
  • Educate internal and external teams on healthcare industry trends as it relates to digital marketing

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • 5+ years’ experience in the healthcare industry with leadership role in digital marketing or strategy
  • Ability to showcase and present digital capabilities and strategies
  • In-depth knowledge of strategies, digital tactics and associated FDA regulations
  • Ability to manage numerous, complex projects in various stages of life cycle
  • High-level client service, communication, interpersonal, organizational, decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to delegate, prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
  • Ability to assess, hire, train, manage and mentor
  • Ability to apply marketing knowledge to brand building initiatives
  • Ability to use information and data effectively
