This person would report directly to the Regional President and have oversight of three separate campuses within this large healthcare system. 

Due to the intense involvement of the clinical staff in all facets of Cardiovascular Services (which include CVICU, PCCU, Cath Lab, Cardiopulmonary, Cardiopulmonary Rehab, Cardiac Decision Units, Echo, EEG and Monitor Techs), this person MUST have an RN license for consideration. Full job description below, but it's one of those boring ones written by the legal department. 




Responsible for ensuring high standards of Cardiovascular Services (which include CVICU, PCCU, Cath Lab, Cardiopulmonary, Cardiopulmonary Rehab, Cardiac Decision Units, Echo, EEG and Monitor Techs) through use of human, fiscal and material resources. Demonstrates strong commitment to excellence, development and growth of inter-disciplinary staff. Development of positive professional relationships with physicians and intra-departmental peers, and the development and provision of comprehensive Cardiovascular services and programs within the CV Service Line. Responsible for planning, implementing, directing, monitoring and promoting all Cardiovascular service initiatives. Responsible for leading strategic and business planning initiatives; formulating budgets; developing and implementing appropriate marketing and promotional tools to communicate the core message of the CV service line; manage all human resources in a cost effective yet supportive manner; and develop and monitor the service outcome data, e.g. clinical outcomes, service and cost.


In order to be considered, this person must have ten years hospital or health care related experience in cardiovascular services with a minimum of five years management. 


Master’s Degree in health related field preferred, Bachelor's required and must have a valid Texas nursing license.
